Lunch Gathering by: Anonymous
The Boynton Beach Fibromyalgia Group meet for lunch the 4th Thursday of each month at Duffy's on Jog Rd. and Boynton Beach Blvd. at 12:30. They order off the menu and receive separate checks. This is a warm and wonderful group and look forward to new members. Because so many of the members have limitations with the symptoms of the illness they have not been able to connect socially and this is a wonderful opportunity to do just that. I look forward to seeing you there. Sheila D

Getting Out by: Sheila
Having been ill with Fibro/CFIIDS for close to 30 years it has become more and more difficult to be involved with social activities that most people are a part of. People do not understand our illness and how anyone can have so many things wrong with them and just look perfectly normal.
Donna's group gives a place to not only talk about our limitations but to keep current on ways to improve our health. Guest speakers come quite often and share what they have to offer that has been of help to some. The monthly luncheons enable us to get together without the pressure of being worried that we may not be well enough to make it that day. They are a warm and friendly group and easy to be with.
This is a wonderful place to share your fibro experiences. I look forward to seeing some new faces at our next activity.

"A Growing & Graceful Support Group"from a long-time experienced member by: "Miss Roxie"
We really need each other-desperately!! So, I'm so happy for this new site. I have belonged to this group for a long time & it is very beneficial. There are many days when I have felt so ALONE with my "Fibro" condition, however, due to Donna (the Facilitator of our group), and all the wonderful "Fibro-friends" I am somehow very loved, assured, peaceful, calm and understood!! (***...being "understood" is an understatement*** I'm sure you all know what I mean by that). Sometimes just having someone say, "I totally understand what you're going through"...is worth its weight in gold. Not to mention, the vast amount of collective information on "new" treatments, medicine, doctors, advice, etc. the group has to offer as well. Hopefully, I will get to meet you soon...until then remember: "It's a great day to feel better"!! Love, Roxie
